P. Bobby Shukla  





P. Bobby Shukla is a trial lawyer who represents employees in civil rights litigation at the Law Offices of Stephen M. Murphy. The cases she handles include discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistle-blowing and wrongful termination. She is one of the newest members of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association’s Board of Directors and serves on the Women’s Caucus, as well as the committee devoted to publishing the Trial Lawyer Magazine.


Ms. Shukla is also an active member of the National Lawyers Guild. She's a past Vice President of the Bay Area Chapter and currently sits on the Board of Directors of the National Lawyers Guild Foundation, a nonprofit corporation that, among other things, provides grants to legal projects engaged in the defense of political and civil rights. 


Ms. Shukla has been named a Rising Star or a Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers every year since 2009 and named one of the Top Women Attorneys in Northern California since 2012. She is also a past recipient of the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services and currently volunteers at the Legal Aid Society’s Employment Law Center in San Francisco. 

Ms. Shukla graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law where she was a Public Interest Law Scholar and a founding member of the Hastings Race and Poverty Law Journal.
