Julie Erickson (Chair) Julie’s practice focuses on all phases of complex class action litigation. She exclusively represents plaintiffs in a diverse set of state and national class actions involving consumer fraud, employment/wage and hour violations, and elder abuse disputes in both federal and state courts.
Doris Cheng has been ranked as one of the top 50 women lawyers and top 100 lawyers in Northern California. She was listed as Trial Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers of America in 2017. Ms. Cheng is a partner in the law firm of Walkup Melodia Kelly & Schoenberger. She is a Past President of SFTLA. She is the current President of the Bar Association of San Francisco. She has been inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates, International Academy of Trial Lawyers and American College of Trial Lawyers. Ms. Cheng is a co-author of the eminent treatise, The Rutter Group California Practice Guide on Personal Injury, and the trial practice guide, Mastering the Mechanics of Civil Jury Trials.
Karman Guadagni is the managing associate at Stebner and Associates, a law firm specializing in elder abuse and neglect cases. Ms. Guadagni focuses primarily on institutional elder abuse litigation, with an emphasis on litigating neglect and physical abuse cases, including sexual abuse cases, against nursing homes and residential care facilities for the elderly. She has achieved successful results for plaintiffs in mediations and trial throughout California. In 2015, 2016 and 2017, Ms. Guadagni was selected as a Rising Star among California’s Super Lawyers and is a frequent speaker on elder abuse issues. In 2015 and 2016, she was a guest professor at Stanford Law School and has had articles appear in various legal publications. Ms. Guadagni graduated from UC Hastings College of the Law in 2009.
