June Bashant (Chair) joined the law firm of Rouda, Feder, Tietjen & McGuinn in 1999, and has established a reputation for her work in representing individuals injured by the careless conduct and choices of others. Her practice focuses on serious personal injury and wrongful death. June’s work on behalf of her clients has resulted in improved safety standards and consumer protections – leveling the playing field when powerful corporations act irresponsibly or negligently. Outside of work, June enjoys fitness, running, and spending time with family.

Khaldoun Baghdadi is a partner at Walkup Melodia Kelly & Schoenberger. He handles cases ranging from product defect to medical negligence. He has served as a faculty member teaching trial advocacy at UC Berkeley, and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. He has served in leadership in a number of coordinated proceedings and Multi-District Litigation (MDL) cases around the country.

John Feder is a partner with Rouda, Feder, Tietjen & McGuinn in San Francisco. He specializes in personal injury and wrongful death cases; including automobiles, motorcycle, and trucking accidents, premises liability, construction site accidents and products liability, medical negligence, and elder abuse. John was a finalist for the CAOC Trial Lawyer of The Year Award in 2006 and finalist for the SFTLA Trial Lawyer of Year in 2007.

Dave Glynn oversees all aspects of The Expert Institute’s commercial relationships and strategic opportunities as Vice President of Business Development. He previously held positions in Singapore and New York City developing relationships with financial institutions accessing expertise for investment due diligence. He has managed significant relationships with government entities in Singapore and Malaysia, bulge bracket banks, private equity and hedge funds. Previously, Dave engaged in non-profit work for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation at Technoserve, providing financing for coffee producing cooperatives in Eastern Africa. Dave served in Americorps in Alaska after graduating from Georgetown University with a B.A. in Economics.

Alexis McKenna is a partner at Winer, McKenna & Burritt, LLP, where she specializes in harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination and sex abuse claims on behalf of plaintiffs. Alexis feels strongly about enabling and empowering people who have been abused by or otherwise injured through the misconduct of corporations or individuals who misuse a position of power. Alexis was the President of the Alameda/Contra Costa Trial Lawyers Association (ACCTLA) in 2013, and is on the Board of Governors of Consumer Attorneys of California. A former editor of The Verdict for ACCTLA, Alexis has also published numerous articles and been a frequent lecturer in the area of employment litigation.

Elinor Leary is a trial attorney at The Veen Firm. Her cases involve worksite injuries, defective products, dangerous property conditions, negligent security, and vehicle collisions. Elinor was a public defender in Alameda County and has been a clinical professor at the University of San Francisco School of Law, teaching courtroom advocacy, jury selection, and trial skills. Elinor is active in numerous organizations that champion consumer rights and strive to protect the Constitutional right to trial by jury.
