    Summary

Learn how to protect against the misuse of surveillance evidence to challenge your client’s credibility. Improper and illegal actions by the investigator can violate your client’s privacy and may violate federal and state laws. Surveillance videos and photos can be manipulated to paint an unfavorable and deceptive picture of your client. Timing of the release of surveillance evidence can be used to make it more difficult for you to rebut the defense arguments and insinuations.

Brett Baber’s presentation will cover federal and state judicial rulings on the development and presentation of surveillance evidence, including rules of procedure and evidence, that help you protect your client from misuse of this defense tool.
