Sandra Ribera is the owner of Ribera Law Firm, a boutique law firm in San Francisco focusing on personal injury, employment, and probate matters. A graduate of Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, Sandra’s life changed when she read an article in Rolling Stone magazine in late 2005 about the $360 million wrongful death lawsuit brought by the estate of rapper Notorious B.I.G. against the LAPD. Having just passed the Bar, Sandra cold-called the lead attorney representing the rapper’s Estate with the intention to convince him to let her work on the case. Miraculously, Sandra’s call was answered and she was hired a year later as the youngest member of the legal team representing the family of the late rapper. Since returning to San Francisco, Ms. Ribera has continued her ambitious career path. Most recently, Sandra has gained worldwide recognition in her role as legal counsel for Katherine Jackson, the mother of the late Michael Jackson. In addition to representing Mrs. Jackson in the probate proceedings as one of the beneficiaries of her son’s estate as well as guardian of his children, Sandra recently associated in as counsel for Mrs. Jackson and her grandchildren in the wrongful death action filed on their behalf by legendary trial attorney Brian Panish. Ms. Ribera is a newly elected member of SFTLA's Board of Directors.
